Dr. Zafar Iqbal Abbasi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cyber Security at FAST-NUCES Islamabad. He earned his Ph.D. from NUST in 2020, focusing on automated analysis of cybersecurity threats, and has previously served as an Assistant Professor at Air University, Team Lead at the National Cyber Security Auditing and Evaluation Lab (NCSAEL), and Senior Researcher in an R&D organization. His research spans autonomous vehicle security, smart cities, advanced persistent threats (APTs), threat modeling, Android security, malware analysis, and MANETs, and he actively contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for leading IEEE journals and conferences.
