Dr. Ali Ismail Awad is an Associate Professor of Cybersecurity at the College of Information Technology, United Arab Emirates University, and has coordinated the Master's Program in Information Security since 2022. He also holds positions as an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Plymouth, as well as an Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering at Al-Azhar University in Egypt. His research focuses on cybersecurity, network security, IoT security, and image analysis with applications in biometrics and medical imaging, and he has published extensively in these fields. Dr. Awad has been recognized among the top 2% of influential scientists worldwide from 2021 to 2023 and serves on the editorial boards of several prestigious journals, contributing significantly to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals through his work.
